Key Stage 5 Courses

At PH6, we offer a broad range of Level 3 qualifications, including A Levels and BTEC/National qualifications, allowing students to build a programme of study that reflects their interests, strengths and future ambitions.

You can explore individual course overviews, entry requirements and further information below.

Alongside their chosen subjects, all students benefit from a wider Sixth Form curriculum designed to prepare them for life beyond PH6. This includes careers and destinations guidance, weekly PE, and a comprehensive Personal Development programme delivered through dedicated PSHRE lessons, tutor time, workshops and visiting speakers.

Choosing your subjects

Our curriculum is reviewed each year to ensure that we can offer the strongest possible range of courses and accommodate the most popular subject combinations.

When applying, students are asked to select and rank their preferred subjects. We ask applicants to choose a minimum of three and a maximum of five subjects at this stage. This gives us the information needed to create option blocks that meet the preferences of as many students as possible.

Most students will ultimately study three Level 3 subjects, with some choosing an additional qualification where appropriate.

Students may also have the opportunity to complement their main programme of study with additional qualifications such as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) or Core Maths.

Our Sixth Form team will support students throughout the application and enrolment process to ensure that their final programme of study is well suited to their aspirations and future plans.
