The inspection judged the Quality of Education and Sixth Form provision to be ‘Outstanding’, with ‘Good’ in Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, and Leadership and Management. These outcomes reflect a school community committed to academic excellence, personal growth, and high standards for all.
Inspectors praised the “culture of high expectations” that underpins our work, noting that students “achieve exceptionally well” and are “well prepared for further education and employment.” They highlighted the strength of our curriculum, the clarity of teaching, and the impressive progress made by pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and disadvantaged pupils.
The report also acknowledged our vibrant wider curriculum and inclusive ethos, where students benefit from purposeful enrichment, daily reading, and a strong focus on values and well being. Our sixth form was described as “exceptional”, with students demonstrating “impressive maturity and independence” and progressing to ambitious destinations.
