This term the student leadership team have organized and run two School Discos for our younger students (Year 7 and 8). Early in the academic year we held a student voice survey and the year 7/8 students identified a disco as something that they wanted to experience. The senior student leaders have worked hard to facilitate this request.

The Year 7 Disco took place early in March with a huge amount of students taking up the opportunity to get involved. The students absolutely loved the event, with some amazing dance moves being put on display. This included a humongous conga, a dance off and an extra special worm.

Recently the Year 8s had their Park House disco experience. Again, many moves were on display. What was evident was the fact that these events provided our students an opportunity to further bond as a year group and, more importantly, create memories of their Park House journey. The smiles, laughs and comradery was a pleasure to see.
