DofE Silver Award Expedition Assessment

In June at the end of exam season, our Y11 and a handful of Y10 students completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award expedition assessment. This expedition follows from their practical weekend and is passed by a 3 day hike and 2 nights camping. Having completed their Bronze in previous years, Ridgeline Adventures were delighted to see them again fully competent and confident throughout the assessment.

After the first hike, they certainly showed their tiredness with many having a nap on the grass in the afternoon sunshine. They soon settled each night after Mr Bouzida sat with them singing songs and playing along with his guitar.

Overall a great weekend for the students and ourselves and we’re proud of their display of independence and skills. Well done to all students for completing their Assessment!
