UCAS and Personal Development
Our main aim at PH6 is to prepare and support students for further education and beyond. We offer bespoke help and guidance to every student as they make choices that will shape the beginning of their independent, adult life.
The Personal Development Programme is an essential part of the school’s support for individuals as they mature and develop into independent and capable young adults. This programme ranges from UCAS application support to financial awareness and discussions around global and moral issues.
For many of our students, university is the next step in their journey. We are experienced in coordinating the UCAS application process and invite students to UCAS advice workshops and conferences. The PH6 pastoral team offer advice on every stage of the UCAS application process. We are also experienced at advising and preparing our students for Oxbridge applications where appropriate.
Some students follow different pathways and we also offer a range of guidance seminars and external sessions to help prepare for apprenticeships and employment. Guidance will be given on: completing applications, visiting places of employment, preparing for interviews, applying for degree apprenticeship as well as conservatoire places.
