​Park House School has teamed up with Mad Dog Rugby to offer students interested in rugby and sport the opportunity to study whilst participating in this exciting venture. Former England Rugby Captain, Lewis Moody established Mad Dog Rugby to empower young adults and continue their personal development, using rugby as a foundation. Lewis and his team help develop students in not just their rugby skills but their confidence, team building, leadership abilities, knowledge of nutrition through the wellness programme and injury prevention, alongside their athletic development.

​Lewis, who was part of the 2003 World Cup winning side, is a regular visitor at the school, ensuring the smooth running of the programme, run by Mad Dog’s professional coaches, who are based here.

​Matches are held during school time against other schools and academies and they compete in national competitions like the NatWest Schools Cup and Rosslyn 7’s. Pupils also have the benefit of video analysis, which is not just used to improve their game but to give them confidence in critical analysis and presentation skills too.

​Mad Dog Rugby will deliver two years of rugby skills training, wellness and athletic development, that runs alongside A Level/BTEC Studies. Students will gain accreditation for completing the programme by representing the school in matches and the opportunity to gain their Rugby Coaching or Officiating qualification.
