Park House School

Equality and Diversity

Park House and The Greenshaw Learning Trust are committed to equal opportunities and values diversity. We will challenge prejudice and intolerance and seek to eliminate discrimination.

The promotion of equality of opportunity is in the best interest of our staff, students and the wider community. We will work constantly to ensure Park House School is an open and accepting community to all.

Students learn about the importance of equality and diversity through our PHSE curriculum and assembly program. We aim to educate and carry out functions that;

  • Eliminate discrimination, harassment, victimisation and other conduct that is prohibited by the Equality Act 2010.
  • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it.
  • Foster good relations across all protected characteristics – between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it.

We operate a student council, including a Diversity lead alongside a Diversity club that aims to further the aims of the above. Any student who would like to contribute to ideas and/or events can do so through our student voice council, Diversity extracurricular club and our student voice post-box (located in the main corridor).
