Democracy
A system in which all of the people are involved in making decisions about our community, typically by voting to elect representatives to a council or governing body.

Liberty
Liberty that we decide many things about our lives. In other words, people have freedom to rule themselves within the rules of our community.

Tolerance
Willingness to accept feelings, habits, or beliefs that are different from your own.

Remembrance
Remembering the sacrifices made in the past for our benefit in the present.

Resilience
The ability to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something bad happens.
