Celebrating another year of outstanding A-Level results

Celebrating another superb set of A Level results, with 69% of students achieving top grade passes.

We are absolutely delighted by this year’s outstanding A Level results, which represent a culmination of the dedication and long-term commitment of a wonderful year group. We are exceptionally proud of them. These very special young people thoroughly deserve their success; they have contributed so much to the life of the school and wider community during their time in the Sixth Form with us. As a year group, they have significantly exceeded every value-added performance target set based on prior attainment and we congratulate them on the truly exceptional progress and achievement that this represents.

69% of passes were at A*-C and 41% at A*-B, with 100% of students achieving one or more A Levels.

Exceptional individual achievements include that of former Head Boy Luke Barlow who achieved four A* passes at A Level and is now off to study Medicine at St. Andrew’s University in September.

The performance of our students on the Hungerford Town Football Academy programme also continue to be equally impressive. The results achieved on the BTEC Sport Extended Diploma, which is equivalent to three A Levels are once again outstanding.
