Paralympic Festival

This Wednesday 23 October, pupils from ten primary schools (and some of their parents) from across West Berkshire attended Park House for a very exciting Paralympic Festival as part of our ongoing Olympic and Paralympic legacy commitment!

Each primary school competed in four different sports - Archery, Boccia, Seated Volleyball and New Age Kurling.

Paralympic Festival Legacy
The emphasis was on team work with each young person participating in all activities to score points for their team. Our PE Change team – a designated team of talented sports leaders – organised, officiated and ran the event. The team comprising Tesni Fakes, Austin Jones, Selina Jones, Annabel Chaffey, Abbie Breach, Kendra-Lyn Bruce, Rebecca Pearce, Katie Higgs, Katie Russell and Katherine Langley did a superb job!
