10 July 2020 Update

Dear Parents, Carers and Students

As we approach the last week of an extraordinary academic year, I wanted to once again thank you equally for your extraordinary work and support in ensuring that our virtual learning experience has, despite the obvious challenges, worked so successfully. As families working together, you have been amazing.

Our planning for September has progressed really well over the last few days and we are fully on track to share details later next week. The spirit and commitment that you have shown throughout the Lockdown will more than ensure that the return to school will be positive and successful. I know that all the staff can’t wait to see you all again. We are a very special community.

On that note, thank you for all your support as parents with the Year 10 and 12 Practical Subject Workshops. They have been a great success and invaluable experience for the students studying Art, Textiles, Photography, Music, Dance and Technology. Due to the success of the Textiles workshops in the first stage, we are delighted to say that there will be a further workshop next week.  Miss Wozniak will be sending an email identifying which day (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) we will be inviting your child in so as not to affect other workshops and also to maintain social distancing.

Thoughts from two Americans in the week after Independence Day...

‘Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations’.

Zig Ziglar (1926-2012)

‘The most reliable way to predict the future is to create it’.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)

I hope you have a great weekend.

Very best wishes
