Computing & ICT

As a national Centre of Excellence in Computing, the Computer Science and IT department ensure that all students develop their computational thinking and programming skills, encompassing digital literacy and ICT to prepare for the dynamic digital environment.

Through these approaches students develop 21st century skills such as deposition and abstract to solve problems and create efficient, effective and usable systems.  We provide cloud-based learning resources which enable students to access their learning at anytime and anywhere using an e-portfolio with associated evidence documentation and classroom resources.  Our curriculum is varied and stimulating and allows students to reach their full potential through contextual learning approaches where students can apply logical thinking and creativity to develop solutions which will help make lives better and smarter using a combined range of hardware and software.
