Teacher of English

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of English. We would welcome applications from NQTs and qualified teachers who are keen to contribute to our creative and dynamic team. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 across all abilities.

Clerk to the Governing Body

Hours:           22 hours per term (6 terms per year)

Salary:           Grade E: £18,870 - £21,074 FTE (£1,291 - £1,441 pro rata)

This is a key role providing administrative and advisory support to the Governing Body. Duties include preparing agendas in consultation with the Headteacher and the Chair of Governors; taking and writing up the minutes at governors’ meetings, distributing documentation to the governing body and administering elections for Staff and Parent Governors as directed. The Clerk also needs to become familiar with legislation affecting school governance and current educational developments.

Meetings usually take place during the evening time.

Teaching Assistants

30.5 hours per week - term-time only

Have you got the energy and vision for SEN to join our passionate team?

We cater to the individual needs of all students with learning difficulties at Park House. To meet the needs of individual pupils, we are seeking a support assistant. You will be working with pupils from Years 7 – 11 who have various learning difficulties.   Experience of Autism in an educational setting will be an advantage.

Working in a resilient department, you will support the needs of pupils as individuals or in small groups through the day. You will be required to support in the implementation of support plans and provide assistance with programmes devised by other staff.

You will also be required to assist with pupils’ personal needs so will need to be flexible and adaptable.

Applicants will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and empathetic personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is important.

Caretaker

We are looking for a flexible team player to support our busy Premises Team. Responsibilities will include; general site security, ensuring all communal areas, entrances and pathways are clean and presentable and undertaking minor repairs. Assisting with the health and safety reviews and overseeing contractors. Occasional minibus driving.

Minibus Drivers

£9.75 per hour

We are seeking Minibus Drivers with good local knowledge and the ability to interact with pupils and parents.

Shifts available Monday to Friday:
7.00am to 8.30am
3.25pm to 5.00pm
 
You must be over 21 with a clean driving license and 3 years of driving experience.
