Chief Finance and Operating Officer (CFOO)

Achievement for All Education Trust is looking for a Chief Finance and Operating Officer to lead our back-office staff to provide an outstanding service. As an expanding Trust, we currently have one school, and hence the post is for one day a week, for a year in the first instance. If you are a qualified accountant, this would be a huge benefit.

Duties

  • Fulfilling the role of Chief Finance Officer, which includes submitting the statutory DFE returns, managing audit, and producing monthly consolidated accounts

  • Acting on behalf of the Trust to oversee the financial management within its school(s)

  • As Chief Operating Officer, to be line manage any back-office staff, and to be responsible for the smooth operation of procurement, asset management, resources and facilities management, HR and payroll

  • Attending Board meetings and Executive Team meetings

As a small team, you will be working closely with the CEO, Exec Admin Assistant and HR & Payroll assistant. You will need to be flexible in your approach, with the ability to find creative solutions.

0.2 FTE (the equivalent of a day a week)

Salary (£40,000 to £45,000) pro rata

Teaching Assistants

Have you got the energy and vision for SEN to join our passionate team?

We cater to the individual needs of all students with learning difficulties at Park House.  To meet the needs of individual pupils, we are seeking Teaching Assistants.  You will be working with pupils from years 7 – 11 who have various learning difficulties.   Experience of Autism in an educational setting would be an advantage.

Working in a resilient department, you will support the needs of pupils as individuals or in small groups through the day.  You will be required to support in the implementation of support plans and provide assistance with programmes devised by other staff.

You will also be required to assist with pupils’ personal needs so will need to be flexible and adaptable.

Applicants will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and empathetic personality.  The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is important.

30.5 hours per week - term-time only

Scale Point 3-5 (C) £18,065 – £18,795 FTE

Learning Supervisor

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to work as part of the support team driving our outstanding provision for young people in the local area. 

Duties

  • Required to supervise lessons where a teacher is absent from school.
  • Supervision of lessons where work has been set
  • Exam invigilation.
  • Accompanying staff on school trips and
  • Supporting subject departments with administrative tasks such as photocopying.

37 hours per week – term time only

Scale Point 5 – 9 (D) £18,795 - £20,344 FTE
