Governance

At Park House we are proud to have been recognised as an ‘exceptional school’. A school in which our ‘values-centred ambition for students’ delivers a caring and supporting environment in which each students curriculum and enrichment activities is tailored such that they reach their full academic and personal potential.

Our web site, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube feeds show just some of the rich and memorable experiences which promote students’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural and academic development. Personal Best magazine is sent to all parents and is a wonderful encapsulation of the brilliant and diverse achievements of our students.

Our ambition for Park House is to continue developing this personalised experience, building on the skills and commitment of dedicated staff, innovative thinking and high quality partnerships with other organisations. Great examples of this are our recognition as a Centre for Excellence in Computer Science, our IT partnership with Ntegra and the roll out of Bring Your Own Device.??

The Governing Body works alongside the Headteacher, Derek Peaple, and his team at a strategic level, supporting and challenging, and acting as the ‘critical friend’ of the school.

The full Governing Body manages its work through three sub-committees: Progress & Achievement; Behaviour & Welfare; and Finance & Resources to scrutinise and hold the Headteacher to account for every aspect of school life. The full Governing Body and sub-committees each meet six times a year.
